I work on Expo, which I co-founded with Charlie Cheever when we wanted to make it easier to make and use universal mobile apps that run everywhere. Our technical backgrounds are in software engineering, specifically building infrastructure that addresses the needs of product developers. With the rise of agentic development and ubiquity of mobile, improving the infrastructure of the mobile app ecosystem is one of the most important problems we believe we are especially well-suited to solve.
Expo provides agentic mobile infrastructure for autonomously building and operating Android, iOS, and web apps. Expo covers the full agentic application development lifecycle: build, verify, test, deploy, distribute, observe, and build again. We handle the complexity and compute workloads of developing and running apps across these platforms so developers can focus on the products they want. At Expo, we create developer success.
Today, we extensively run increasingly autonomous agents across our company, across all divisions. Internally, we build the gamut of agent-forward technologies including agent-native programming languages, fleet management, and agentic mobile verification using Expo’s own infrastructure.
